Minky Couture blankets come in seven sizes, from a small Mini blanket to our largest Grade size. They are sized like standard blankets sizes, not bed spreads or comforters.

Informational Video

Starting with our smallest size: the Mini Dimensions: 10" x 18"

Age Recommendation: Infants & Toddlers

These cute little blankets have multiple uses. They are perfect for small infants, some people like to use these as blankets for their dolls, some people get them for their little pets, they can be used as security blankets or lovies, or even be used to comfort NICU babies.

Minky Couture donates Mini blankets to NICUs around the United States as part of our Heart of Minky program. You can find more information about Heart of Minky Program from our web page, or at on our Instagram (@heartofminky).

The next size up is our Infant. Dimensions: 30" x 36"

Age Recommendation: Newborn - 3 years old

This blanket is the blanket for newborns! Stick it in the carseat, or snuggle up with it for a nap, this blanket is a great and portable size for your baby to take everywhere. Even as kids get older, it's a great carry-around size! These also make for the best baby shower gifts 👶🏼💕

Then there's the Tween. Dimensions: 36" x 50"

Age Recommendation: 4 years old - 7 years old

This is the blanket size we recommend for toddlers and young kids. The Tween is the size of a crib bed, & is another popular option to get for babies. It is a bit longer than the Infant size, so if you want a suitable size for your toddler, this is the one you want. It also makes for a great lap blanket for adults!

The next size is the Travel. Dimensions: 36" x 60"

Age Recommendation: Anyone can use this!

This size is very similar to the Tween size. They are the same width, but the Travel is only 10 inches longer.

This size is perfect for what it's named for...traveling! Use this in a car, on a plane, or even in your recliner watching TV. If you're looking for a size similar to the Tween, but want it in a solid color, our Travel size carries more solid plush blankets.

The next size is the Adult. Dimensions: 50" x 60"

Age Recommendation: 8 years old - 13 years old

This size is like a standard throw blanket. The Adult size is perfect for when you're sitting on the couch and you're looking for a blanket to snuggle up with. It makes for a great lap blanket and is also a great size for young teenagers!

The next size is the Monster. Dimensions: 60" x 72"

Age Recommendation: This blanket really is good for any person, any age.

This is probably our most popular size for adults. With its measurements at 5 feet by 6 feet, this big blanket is suitable for most adults and teenagers. The Monster size fits perfectly at the foot of a queen bed if you want to use it for room decoration.

Our biggest size is our Grande. Dimensions: 60" x 84"

Age Recommendation: This blanket really is good for any person, any age.

Yes, the Grande size is bigger than our Monster! They are the same width (60 in.) but the Grande is 12" longer. We created this size so our tall friends would have a blanket that could cover their toes. The Grande also works for sharing for two adults and fits at the foot of a king size bed.

Something to remember: minky fabric is dense and our blankets are heavy. The bigger the size, the heavier the blanket will be. We hope you can find the size best for you! Let us know if you have any further questions about our sizing!

Sewn with love,

Minky Couture
