Kids Blankets

The size of a kids' blanket can vary depending on the age of the child and the intended use of the blanket. However, a typical size for a kids' blanket is around 50" x 60".

This size is suitable for older children who have outgrown baby blankets and need a larger size for snuggling or covering themselves while sitting or lying down. For younger children aged 4 to 7 years old, a smaller blanket, such as 36" x 50", may be more appropriate.

It's important to note that some children may prefer larger or smaller blankets, so it's always a good idea to consider the child's size and individual needs when selecting a blanket size. For more information on sizing, see our blanket size guide.

When choosing a kids blanket as a gift, there are several factors to consider to ensure that the gift is well-received and appreciated:

1. Age and gender of the child: Consider the age and gender of the child to help narrow down your options. For example, younger children may prefer brighter colors and playful patterns, while older children may prefer more mature designs.

2. Size: Consider the size of the blanket, as it can affect the blanket's versatility and how long the child can use it. Choose a size that is appropriate for the child's age and development.

3. Design: Consider the design of the blanket, as it can affect the blanket's appeal. Choose a design that matches the child's interests and personality.

4. Purpose: Consider the purpose of the blanket. Will it be used for snuggling on the couch or for outdoor activities? Choose a blanket that fits the intended purpose.
