Can't get enough minky!
I received this blanket during Christmas time. I believe it's a Christmas edition with the silver foil polka dots. It washes so great and feels brand new once completely air dried. Could not recommend minky couture blankets enough!!

Not what I expected
The blanket is soft. It does not shed so this is a plus. It is a beautiful true red. You must wash it alone every time it needs washed or it will stain other things.
My dislike is that I thought the blanket would be thicker and keep me warm. It is very thin and seems almost as if it is two pieces of minky sewn together with no batting in between. It stays cold. The only way to get warm using this is to put into the dryer for several minutes then wrap up in it. Once it loses the heat from the dryer it is back to being cold again even if you wrap up in it

The blanket looks like it is wonderful. However, I thought I was getting the Minky hugs blanket and this one is not as lush. I am new to buying Minky so I didn't know the difference. Since this was a gift, I waited to see if they wanted this or one like I wasngifted,and they said yes, so I will be returning this one. I replaced it with the Minky hugs.

Before I actually had a Minky blanket, I always would roll my eyes and wonder why people made such a big deal out of them. Now I know! They are a heavy blanket without being waited, and they are so comforting! I can't have enough of them in my home! I even have them for my dogs!

Softest ever
Love this blanket i had to get another. They are so soft and with my chronic pain blankets usually hurt my feet but this is so light and soft that it doesn't and to me that says a lot.

Though it would be thicker
