Eek! It's almost Halloween & we are excited! To get in the mood, we've wrapped up in our piles of Minky blankets (of course), & watched every Halloween/fall movie and TV episode from our favorite shows we can think of. Aaaand to get us even more excited, we're launching our Halloween blankets for 2020 NEXT WEEK! They are everything we love about fall and Halloween. You'll definitely want to check them out. Here is a list of some of our employees' favorite Halloween movies! All of them are rated G or PG and are great for families. So, pick one of these Halloween movies to watch & cuddle up in your Minky for the coziest night in!

 Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus is a great Halloween movie full of witches, broomsticks, black cats, and spells. The movie itself takes place on Halloween! Very fitting fall time movie that has everything we love about Halloween.

 

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

This is one of the all time classic fall movies! Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and friends are so cute in this cartoon and do all the fun fall time activities. This Charlie Brown movie is a great movie pick for a night in!

 

 

Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion is, well, haunted! On their way to a family vacation, the Evers family takes a stop at a house Mr. Evers was asked to sell for his job. Little does this family know that the mansion is haunted and the ghosts need their help to break the curse. This is the perfect spooky and haunted movie to watch if you're looking for a ghost story!

 

Monsters University

 

Back-to-school at Monsters University! Who doesn't love a good monster movie to watch on Halloween? Friday night football games (especially rival ones) is a fall activity lots of people love to attend. But what if instead of football games, there were monsters competing against each other for acceptance into MU Scare Program? We love this monster movie!

 

Hotel Transylvania 

Everything vampires, mummies, and monsters, this is a fun Halloween movie for kids and families. When a human enters Count Dracula's castle and becomes friends with his daughter, Dracula has to disguise the human as a fellow monster.

  

The House with a Clock in its Walls

      

This is such a fun Halloween mystery movie with magic, witches, warlocks, and curses. For fans of magic stories, this is the movie for you! Also a great movie if you're a Jack Black fan. ;)

 

The 'Burbs

  

Tom Hanks stars in this 1989 spooky family movie about the Petersons and their neighbors, who live in a quiet suburban cul-de-sac. When a new family moves into the abandoned house on the street, spooky noises and mysterious things start happening.

 

The Nightmare Before Christmas

 

In true Halloween fashion, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is a haunting movie that follows pumpkin king, Jack Skellington from Halloweentown, as he plans to take over Christmastown and pose as Santa Claus. The Nightmare Before Christmas has such catchy Halloween songs, you'll be singing them all season.

 

Casper

Casper is a family friendly but spooky Halloween movie about a friendly ghost named Casper who haunts a house on the East coast. When a human family shows up to Casper's haunted house to try and communicate with him, Casper's ghost family causes trouble for the family.
