Minky Couture began with a mission to bring comfort during life’s most difficult moments. That mission became deeply personal when our founder, Sandi, experienced firsthand the emotional journey of the NICU.

Since 2009, eight of Sandi’s grandchildren have spent time in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. During one especially difficult time, her grandson was born at just 30 weeks. To help bring comfort to both mother and baby, Sandi gave her daughter Jami a small Minky Couture mini blanket. Jami held the blanket close to her chest, then placed it beside her son in the incubator. That simple act brought a sense of connection and security to a fragile new life.

It was at that moment that the Heart of Minky program was born.

Today, Minky Couture donates over 60,000 mini blankets each year to NICUs across the country. Each one is a gift of love and warmth for a baby fighting for their life. We believe every NICU infant deserves that comfort, a soft reminder that they are not alone.

We are proud to support Intermountain Children’s Health and have pledged $1 million toward the state-of-the-art NICU at Primary Children’s Hospital. Our commitment is rooted in gratitude for the skilled caregivers who dedicate their lives to these tiny patients.
