What size dog crate pad should I get, and how thick are they?

Measure the length and width inside your crate before you buy. Our crate pads come in five sizes, X-Small through X-Large, built to fit most standard crates, so you can match the pad to your dog's space instead of guessing. Thickness scales with size too, from 3 inches on the X-Small up to 5 inches on the X-Large, giving your dog real cushioning while fitting perfectly.

What are Minky crate pads made of, and are they waterproof?

Each pad is designed with high-density memory foam and wrapped in a water- and scratch-resistant minky fabric cover. The foam supports comfort for growing pups and full-grown dogs alike, while the cover protects against everyday dirt, spills, and accidents, making cleanup easier than a standard crate mat.

Are the covers removable, washable, and available to purchase separately?

Yes to all three. Every cover is interchangeable and machine washable, so keeping your dog's bed clean doesn't mean replacing the whole pad. Additional covers are also sold separately, which is worth adding to your cart if you want a backup ready to go while the other one's in the wash.

Are these crate pads heavy duty enough for chewers, and can they travel with my dog?

The minky cover material is scratch-resistant and designed to hold up under everyday use, but no pad is fully chew-proof, so we recommend supervising crate time until you know how your dog treats it. The pad's compact thickness and secure-fitting cover also make it a great addition to your travel gear, giving your pup the same comfort on the road that they get at home.

Do dogs actually love these crate pads?

Dogs love a soft, comfortable spot to call their own, and a properly sized Minky crate pad gives them exactly that. A cozy crate becomes less of a confinement space and more of a place your pup chooses to relax.
