We LOVE Minky blankets in our home. We have an extra large blanket on our couch, an extra large blanket for our king sized bed, a blanket on my 8 year old’s bed and my toddler has one in his crib and one at his daycare. My toddler refuses any other blanket. He will only snuggle to Minky blankets. He is a Linus Minky blanket boy.

All my other MC blankets are wonderfully luxurious. This one for some reason isn't. It's soft but isn't like the others. It's lighter weight and feels like the quality isn't as good as other styles.

Oh my goodness. I love this blanket.
I have several MC blankets and I really enjoy them, cause they are so comfy. The problem was I start out all cuddled up with a blanket then I get too warm and off it goes, but I want it, but its too warm, my battle all night. I received the Minky blanket for a trip that I went on with a friend. We were heading up to the mountains and she told me that I was probably going to need the gift that she brought me. The very minute that I touched it, I fell in love with it. I took it from the bed in the cabin to the couch. I even took it outside when I drink coffee in the morning. I will take this blanket with me. My puppies think that when I pull my blanket out, it's an invitation to cuddle up in it. But since then, I found out that I am going to be a new grandmother. In our family, we call the grandmother Lola's. So now that I'm gonna be a Lola I decided that I would buy a onesie and my grandsons first Minky blanket. These will be the gifts I give forward. I absolutely love them. There's not another blanket like it. It's pure luxury.

Perfect comfort
My nephew and his wife sent one of these to me last year after my husband of over 40 years passed. It was the most unusual gift I received, and the best. On those inevitable days when I felt overwhelmed, I'd wrap up in this amazing blanket (even when it was 90 out -- I'd turn on a fan to deal with the heat) and let it comfort me. Those difficult days became known as my "Minky Days," and friends knew that meant I needed a little extra space so I could work through this new change in my life. I'm now here to buy one for a young friend who just lost his wife (the funeral was today). I've no doubt he will find comfort in it as well.
